A fresh raw food diet is not only key to a superior immune system, it's the magical essence which grows the
best pups for longevity in their life.
In fact, feeding raw doesn't need to be complicated. In fact, it's much simpler than what you've been told. Plus, it's not as scary as most will make you believe.
A proper diet is the first step to preventing disease and even reversing it once it has already occurred. It requires that you purchase NOTHING other than real whole foods.
The body can build and heal when the proper conditions are put into place. We need to rethink not only how we eat and live but also how we are raising our animals.
As a natural rearing breeder, and someone who has educated and learned from a top holistic vet on the following:
Functional nutrition
Homeopathic remedies & Nosodes
Natural products to use
Food/Seasonal Allergies
Skin Irritations
Anxiety
Picky eaters
Overloaded in RX medications
Toxicity induced
Cancer in younger dog as early as 3 years old
Death before the age of 6 years old
Veterinarians fear factorings
So much more health issues then ever before
We do NOT give vaccinations because of the risk of vaccinosis.
We do, however, use homeopathic nosodes I've created these past 15 years for both Parvo/Distemper.
Each of our puppies will go home with a puppy nosodes kit that will include the following remedies:
Parvo/Distemper - Rabies - Kennel Cough - Heartworm
Plus, we only give a natural herbal de-wormer to not disrupt the gut flora which is the immune system in our pup.
In these past 20+ years our dogs have not needed veterinarian care for wellness.
Nosodes are one kind of homeopathic product.
They are made from diseased human or animal tissues or discharges.
Those germs are diluted many times in plain water, leaving no active ingredients in the product that can affect the immune system.
Nosodes are available as sugar pills or as drops in a water/alcohol base.
There is a great amount of evidence implicating vaccination as the cause of many serious chronic health problems. For this reason, we do not recommend a regular vaccination program for dogs or other animals. As an alternative to vaccination, we do recommend the use of homeopathic nosodes and or homeopathic vaccine nosodes.
This is why we have studied under a homeopathic holistic vet who taught us how to use and create these remedies. Now, we not only support our own dogs and farm animals, but we're also able to give to our puppies and future litters.
Plus, each new owner will also go home with a kit I'll create to help support their pup.
Plus you will have a lifetime access with your puppy inside our private membership group for ongoing support.
Puppy Culture is a program developed by Jane Killion, professional dog trainer and breeder.
It is a comprehensive, organized program for breeders to follow during the first weeks of a puppy’s life.
The first 12 weeks of a puppy’s life are incredibly important.
This is an almost magical time when a breeder has the power to change the outcome of a puppy’s life by what we choose to teach him.
By doing just the right things at just the right time, we can give your puppy the best start possible.
Prenatal Period:
Making sure that your puppy’s genetic material is excellent is only the beginning.
The physical and emotional health of the mother will affect the health of her puppies.
Since research has shown that puppies born to mothers that receive prenatal massage are more docile and enjoy being touched, we spoil our mothers with lots of affection and belly massages.
A puppy’s predisposition to form deep and meaningful relationships begins even before they are born.
Neonatal Period: 0-14 days
Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) Early Scent Introduction (ESI) begins on day 3 and continues through day 16.
Research shows that tiny struggles and stresses in appropriate small doses are actually good for puppies and will help them grow into strong, healthy well-adjusted adults.
Benefits include greater tolerance to stress, greater resistance to disease, faster adrenal system, stronger heart rate and stronger heartbeat. This is a gift that a breeder can only give their puppies once during the window of 3-16 days.
Transitional Period: 14-21 days
Behavioral markers are used to identify the beginning and end of each developmental period because every puppy is different and these timelines are simply guidelines.
The transitional period begins when the puppy’s eyes open and ends when they first startle upon hearing sounds.
Critical Socialization Period: 3-12 weeks
Most people think of socialization as exposing their puppies to as many new experiences as possible while the puppy is young.
While this is part of the process, it’s not enough.
Our goal is to raise dogs that have the emotional intelligence to connect with you.
Emotional intelligence can be taught to young puppies and one of the goals of the Puppy Culture Program to teach breeders how to do this.
There are 7 key things that will nurture the emotional intelligence of a puppy.
1: Communication – giving a puppy his own voice (Communication Trinity – attention/distraction protocols
2: Emotional stability – the ability to recover easily from fear as well as stress
3: Habituation – familiarity with the maximum number of things
4: Enrichment – the view that novelty and challenges are opportunities for enrichment rather than things to be feared or avoided
5: Health – physical wellness and motor skills that will allow the puppy to develop in a neurologically and physically sound way
6: Skills – learned behaviors which allow him to function in human society
7: Love – the desire to seek out the company of both dogs and humans as emotionally positive experiences
Weeks 8-12: Per Puppy Culture protocol, puppies go home with their families. This gives them two weeks in that critical socialization period to adjust to their new family’s lifestyle and be introduced to new people and experiences.
This is definitely an incredible amount of work, but it is 100% ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT!!!!!!When you adopt your puppy, you will be just as thankful as we are for this program!
ENS & ESI
Early Neurological stimulation (ENS) and Early scent Introduction (ESI) ENS are simple exercises to which you expose puppies from days 3-16 to help aid their development, resilience, and coping mechanisms.
These early puppy stimulation exercises don’t take long to perform but can pay off huge dividends in the long run
Boost brain development
Improves circulation and immune system
Stimulates the neurological system
Improves stress responses in later life
Encourages a daily physical check of each puppy
Why: Scent is the way puppies experience the world. Introducing natural scents early on can help:
Introduce puppies to new scents in a controlled way.
Improves scenting ability in later life.
Enhances confidence and stability as adults.
Reduce behavioral
issues in the long term.
Research has shown that when puppies are exposed to scent at this early age, they have an
association and a recognition towards that specific scent.
If your puppy is likely to be used for a service role, detection role or perhaps as a working gun dog, then we could introduce them to “job specific” scents and increase their association with that scent, even at this age.
Our puppies are raised holistically and are exposed to pigs, chickens, a goose, cats, cows, donkey and 5 dogs (which includes their mom).
Not only do they get to trample around our farm, but they also get to meet and interact with neighbors, friends, and many visitors that come by.
We also take them on car rights to our local post office or get into our side by side to deal with farm chores.
Our goal is to have well rounded puppies that will grow up to be healthy, gentle, and social..
